At the Stardust award ceremony, Aishwarya Rai won the award for powerback performance in her comeback movie Jazbaa. She received this award from Rekha ji who has had close relationship with the Bachchan family (for reasons best known to all). However, when she received the award, everyone was shocked because she called Rekha as 'Maa.' She remarked, "It's great to receive it from maa".
That sounds little odd with Jaya being a part of the same ceremony or was it simply out of respect?
