Mika Singh made an appearance as a guest on Sony channel's The Kapil Sharma Show this weekend. But if you think Mika is amused, it's instead giving him sleepless nights. Mika's appearance on Kapil's show is against his contract with Colors as the singer is already a host on the channel's Comedy Nights Live. Industry sources say Colors have sent a notice to Mika for his breach and want to take further action against him. In what is being called a deliberate error of judgement on part of Mika, it is being rumored that he might have to quit Comedy Nights Live.

"He, as well as the industry knows the fallout between the channel Colors and Kapil, who moved to Sony, thereafter. By going on the show on the rival channel, Mika has added fuel to the fire. It is doubtful that they will let his transgression pass because if they do, other artistes will also start flaunting rules." - A source

Mika though has tried to clear the air around the controversy and said that he appeared on Kapil's show as a celebrity to promote his songs. And whatever happened wasn't intentional.

It is being said that actor Sohail Khan may be replacing Mika. The actor-filmmaker apparently has a good rapport with the makers and host Krushna Abhishek, with whom he has worked before.
