There was so much gossip that happened around the dance performance of Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone which was finally scrapped at the IIFA awards held at Madrid recently. Rumour has it that a close rivalry between the two actresses was the reason because of which the the dance was cancelled. However, Deepika Padukone revealed the real reason behind it in an interview with a leading daily. 

Deepika said, "Priyanka is a fabulous performer and I did not want to spoil her performance. We might not have done the dance together at IIFA but you can always play the song anywhere when we both are around and we will happily dance to Pinga."

Priyanka too recently mentioned that there is no competition between the two actresses and that they are good friends like before.

But wait, are we sure that Deepika could have 'spoiled' Priyanka's performance? Not too convincing!
