Pehradaar Piya Ki, a new show about a 9-year-old boy's unusual marriage with an 18-year-old woman, has been receiving a lot of flak right from the first episode. Yesterday, TV actor and host Karan Wahi also took to Facebook and slammed the show makers. Reacting to this, Suyyash Rai, who plays Kunwar Abhay Singh on the same show, opened up on his Instagram account and requested people not to jump to conclusions.

In an interview with Bollywoodlife.com he opened up on Karan's statement and said,"It is too early to make a statement on the show. I don’t think Wahi knew that I was a part of it (chuckles). He told me that the statement was not directed at me. He said that it was his opinion and I am perfectly okay with that. Everyone can express themselves.”
