Veteran Actress Sridevi sudden demise on Saturday night in Dubai has sent shock waves in the entire film fraternity and also her fans. Sridevi was in Dubai along with husband Boney Kapoor and daughter Khushi to attend Mohit Marwah's wedding ceremony. The entire Kapoor family was there last week. Her elder daughter Janhvi, couldn't attend the wedding because of prior work commitments. As per initial Reports the cause of the death was speculated to be cardiac arrest.

But as per the Forensic report issued by Ministry of Health, UAE on Monday the cause of death is accidental drowning in the bathtub of her hotel room and not due to cardiac arrest. Sridevi was found unconscious in the bathroom of her room at Jumeirah Emirates Towers Hotel late on Saturday night and was declared dead by the doctors. According to a Gulf News report, Sridevi, who was under the influence of alcohol, lost her balance and fell into the bathtub and drowned.
