Every once in a while I really hope that time should pause so that I can appreciate some moments like they deserve to be appreciated! I am not saying that I forget to count my blessings, but sometimes all I want to do is to take things slowly. Will you believe me if I told you that I visited Dilli Haat for the first time in all these (seven) years living in Delhi? Yes, that happened and I enjoyed every moment of my trip! Here's my photo diary that encapsulates a timeless experience with my new watch from Emporio Armani, Fossil.
The trip to Dilli Hat was an absolute colour riot! For this outing I chose to wear my classic watch from Emporio Armani along with a printed stole to add a desi vibe. It's not just the perfect clothes and make-up that matters but the ultimate accessory too is important. For me watches score over most other categories when it comes to accessorizing an outfit, followed by bags of course :) Fossil India houses some of the best watch brands like Emporio Armani, Diesel and DKNY in the country today. Got married to Love of my life just a couple of days back.. 6th feb..
It's an Inter Religion Marriage for which we two had to Struggle a lot to convince our families.
But finally we did, Even after our wedding I ask him to pinch me often coz' this Timeless memory of being married to Someone I Love is Nothing less then a Dream.

The most timeless moment in my life was receiving the "Jewel of my College Award" from the hands of the former RBI Governor Dr. Raghuram Rajan. It was the first and the most special achievement of my life. My family was very proud of me and moreover I was proud of myself as my hard work had finally paid off. I started believing in my efforts rather than my luck. From that day nothing was impossible for me and I developed a positive approach towards life and most importantly learned to be thankful for this beautiful life :)

Hi Devina! You are being such a Santa Claus. This is a perfect giveaway! Timeless moment for me was when my dad who was posted in a sensitive region in Jammu came home after 9 months! That moment when I hugged him, after so long still gives me chills. It was so emotional, and so bone chilling! It was at that moment that I realized what a honorable job my father has been doing all his life! And the families that support our soldiers are much braver than our warriors. That incident changed the way I perceived men in uniform despite being a defence kid myself! This is my big timeless moment.

When me n my husband started dating,he was posted in drass.so all we did was talk on the phone for 8 months. That too not everyday.it was like once a week or so,as there was no mobile connectivity in that area.I could finally see him when he came in leave after those 8 months.and that was the timeless moment for me. I wanted it to freeze there forever.it was so magical and beautiful.

Jokes apart, one major Timeless Moment of my life would be when me and my peers in the Corporate Social Responsibility Society at College actively volunteered and taught Environmental Studies to 30 students of Class V under the Khaika Village Teaching Program. There was a shortfall of teachers in the lone school of that village. Small villages are often overlooked and that really concerned all of us. Doing my bit enriched me personally and contributed to educating India even if the endeavour was not large scale.

ReplyDeleteEveryone has a special memory that they will never forget. To me, spending time with my family on my twentieth birthday was the best time that I have ever had. In the morning, they took me to a Chinese restaurant(my favt.:P) .The food was really tasty, That made me really excited. After we went through the gate, there were some people taking a picture of us. I tried to be pretty in front of camera. We didn’t forget to take a picture with everybody. It was so funny and memorable for me which make me cry! Later, we traveled some other places too.They just made my day.

So, the most timeless memory of my life was the one I could luckily capture.
I'm into spreading of girl child education, and I along with a few other people had taken up the initiative to get enough sponsors to fund for various girl child education programs.
With sheer hardwork and dedication I was able to get enough sponsors to educate the maximum number of children from amongst those delegated for this agenda, and hence was even awarded for the same by the Chairman of the NGO. (Pic attached for the same)
This was a timeless moment in my life! Because, the feeling of getting awarded for what you believe in is the best in the world

I just love love love reading your blog whenever I get time, which I hardly get. But then again, whenever I do, I make sure I peep in for updates. Leading a very busy life has its positives and negatives! *sigh* I hardly get to get to see my mum and dad though we stay together. All of us are so busy with our professions.
On one regular day, I had to fly to Pune for a training program and for some reason the entire training got rescheduled for the next day. I was already given a leave from office so as fate suggested, I cancelled my tickets, and scooted into my PJs. Home alone and cancelled plans make me sick! But hey, to my surprise, there was there walked in my mum, followed by dad. They had drove their way back half way from their office. My mother and father had bunked their offices to be with me!! OMG. They really did! We spent the entire day eating, talking, complaining, watching TV, laughing and all in our PJs. How much did I want the time to stop that day!
This was the best timeless moment EVER for me!

ReplyDeleteBeing someone with absolutely no self confidence , low or rather no self esteem.. Being non existent for everybody around ! Hiding from world and pushing myself into a corner and shoving my face into books..and then came a day when I was introduced to an art form...24 July 2009 is the date embedded in my memory, when I first went up on stage and performed in front of 123 people , was insane and the high point was everybody lefts notes for me on the feedback board,
Form being a non existenting nobody to performing in front of 1500 people, from doing people's assignments for being accepted to being a voice over artist
I make myself the most proud! Now hold my head up, Now I breathe, Now I live, Now I Smile more ;)
This timeless memory and dramatic moment was brought into my life by this amazing art form called "Theater " and off course my guruji

ReplyDeleteSo one of the most timeless moment of my life I witnessed on this years Valentines day as it was exceptionally special as I am in love for the first time since my birth till now …and what made it even more excited was we both had our weekoffs on that day and there was no point that my family would have allowed me to go out on that particular weekend as parents now a days are very much alert in these matters thanks to our so called national drama channels sorry news channels :P. And here is one more and unfold surprise we just told our families about us being us and as a result our engagement is due ..but still being officially exposed to our families we couldn't expect them to allow us to be expressive in a way that we roam and spend time here and there.. …and now the situation is they have become even more eagle eyes for us. :P …so coming back to Valentines day which was on 14th what I did was...I was in office in eyes of my familie and So did he as per plan ...but here I had a catch ..I asked one of his friend to accompany him pretended that i wont be coming to see him …in meantime I went to collect collage that I already made which has our first movie date tickets , our first pictures , his childhood pics that I sneaked from aunty few days back ,his love notes and mine too…with this collage I have also created a box in which I have kept all the beautiful memories in writing so that he could read them and feel how much I love him, from a friend s place where i kept it ( as in home my sis woukd have killed me ;) after this I headed to his favourite restaurant and bought a specially designed cake with a wrist watch of Rado and then bursted at his friends place where he was sitting like lifeless baby ...at veru first sight.. He jumped off and huged me in happiness .. By seeing all those things and surprises .. All he couls say was love you...his eyes his face his expressions said everything. Though we are in lovd already...but i never saw him so much happy and sentimental at the same time...he became emotional later on and at the time of dinner that i planned to be a musical one...all he could do was looking at me with a surprise state of mind buy at the same time calm and happy face ...and it was so calming and soothing feeling for me too as being a boring and non dancer girl...i managed to do all this for the first time...and to see your loved one happy because of you is the only timeless memory one could cherish the most...and i had it on this day......

ReplyDeleteMy timeless moment , or rather moments were spent with my dog . The most precious one being when he came running towards me for the first time after I returned home from school . I was taken aback and it was an absolute delight . That day onwards , I would everyday make some kind of gesture or the other like tapping my feet or exhaling heavily just to let him know that I am home . And he would everyday come running towards me and lick my shoes and I would hug him and kiss him !
