Upcoming movie Veere Di Wedding has been in news for not the right reasons lately. Ever since Kareena announced her pregnancy , people have been wondering if she is still a part of the movie. though everyone from Kareena to Sonam to Rhea Kapoor have quashed the rumours there is still some bad news for the fans who are eagerly waiting for the movie. The news is that there just might be a delay in the movie shooting to begin. The project was supposed to go on floors this month, but will now go on floors after April. 

The reason being that the makers want Kareena Kapoor to deliver before she begins shooting for the film. The actress was ready to shoot, but we’re told the VFX cost of covering her baby bump was turning out to be quite high, affecting the overall budget of the film. Also there have been rumours that producers at Balaji are not producing the film anymore. However, when contacted, Balaji CEO Sameer Nair said, “The budget discussions are going on and the pre-production work has started. We are definitely doing the film.”

Still, as per source Balaji is most likely not backing the film anymore, and other studios have already started approaching Rhea Kapoor to bag the deal. We hear A statement for the same will soon be released.
