Villagers in Meghalaya, India have come up with a unique construction technique that harnesses nature in its purest form - they grow their own living bridges! These  have been trained to grow in a particular direction using betel-nut trunks, forming sturdy, living bridges over decades. Some of these bridges are more than a hundred feet long. This mystifying sight bewitches the mind of the tourists instantly.

2.VILLAGE OF TWINS- KODINHI

Kodinhi, a sleepy little town tucked away in the Malappuram district of Kerala, has managed to baffle scientists across the world.The population of the area is 2000 of which 350 are twin pairs. It has rightfully earned the title of 'Twin Town.' 6 pairs of twins in every 1000 births is considered a high twinning rate.

There is a hill in Ladakh that is believed to be magnetic. If by any chance you happen to park your car and leave it on neutral on the road that climbs up the hill, it will ascend the steep road on its own at a speed up to 20kms per hour! Popularly known as ‘Himalayan wonder’.It is a thrilling experience, but in reality, it is only an optical illusion caused by gravity hill. Magnetic Hill is one of the world's recognized gravity hills.

Shani Shignapur village is known for its popular Shani temple.This village has never witnessed any crime, and that is attributed to the blessings of Shani Dev. It is believed that Lord Shani protects the village and he will punish the person who tries to commit any kind of crime here.Taking note of the near-zero crime rate, the UCO Bank has also opened a 'lock-less' branch in this village, the first of its kind in India.

Rather than ripping out the graves to make way for his restaurant, owner Krishnan Kutti chose not to disturb graves instead made sitting and eating arrangements at the space available between the graves.

7.ROBBER'S CAVE- DEHRADUN

Popularly known as Guchu Pani. Robber's Cave, located at a distance of 8 km from the city center, is one of the most popular picnic spots of the destination.The place is famous for a strange phenomenon, wherein a stream of water suddenly disappears from the sight and appears again after few meters. According to a popular belief, it is said that robbers used to hide themselves from British here. Hence, the tourist attraction earned its name, the Robber's Cave.
