It's very difficult to write about that one person who means the world in fact, the entire universe to you! My mother is my HERO, and I couldn't be more excited to do a blog post with her starring in it. I have to thank W for woman for conceptualizing the story and help me capture some of the best moments with the most loved person on the planet.

I can so proudly share that my biggest fashion inspiration has been my mother. The love for clothes and dressing up dates back to the time when my mum, an army wife would dress up for the ladies club (an army way of doing kitty parties) and look like a million dollar bucks. It was so fascinating to see her pick her outfits, paint her nails, try 3- 4 pair of heels before finalizing her look. And when I would look at her doing her hair, it seemed like all the problems in the world go away and I'd float in mid-air, that’s how breathtakingly beautiful she looked every, single time. 

p.s. my dad fell in love with her the every first time he spotted her at a gurudwara. (Something I’d disclose in another post in details: p)

I have to thank W for woman for having me re-call this moment, dressed up in the most beautiful ensembles. We love the monochrome kurtas with floral details and yes we paired it up with cotton pants from W’s only. You have to check out their collections at your nearest store to learn how versatile the new designs are and how this brand continues to mirrors the new age Indian woman.

I love how the brand has infused a dose of traditional outfit to a woman’s wardrobe that looks good on both me and my mum :D
