10 Reasons Why Readers Make The Best Lovers

Reading, deep reading is a thoughtful, pensive journey. It's like you feel like a piece of you was just gained and lost. You’ve just experienced something deep, something intimate. (Maybe, erotic?) Here are ten reasons why readers are the best people to fall in love with!

 1. Readers are proven to be nicer and smarter than the average human, and maybe the only people worth falling in love with on this shallow hell on earth.

2. They can entertain other ideas, without rejecting them and still retain their own.

3. Having experienced someone else’s life through abstract eyes, they’ve learned what it’s like to leave their bodies and see the world through other frames of reference.

4. They’ve learned what it’s like to be a woman, and a man. They know what it’s like to watch someone suffer. They are wise beyond their years.

5. Because reading is something that molds you and adds to your character. Each triumph, lesson and pivotal moment of the protagonist becomes their own.

6. They will write you letters and texts in verse. They are verbose, but not in the obnoxious way.

7. They have the capacity for empathy. They may not always agree with you, but they will try to see things from your point of view.

8. They’re Not Just Smart… They’re Wise. There’s something irresistible about someone you can learn from.

9. Finding someone who reads is like dating a thousand souls. It’s like dating a professor, a romantic and an explorer.

10. Because if you date someone who reads, then you, too, will live a thousand different lives.

  3. Well, I agree! When you meet someone who likes to read, then its like going through all those pages again.
Reading takes us to different world, A world of lovers, a world of misery, a world of someone not us, but to whom we can relate to. We start believing in the existence of fictional characters in real life. They make us look for the perfectness, they make us want to go for perfectness but that thing happens only in stories...only in books just like utopia!
