Rumour has it that the much in love couple, 26-year-old pop star Taylor Swift and her 35-year-old actor British boyfriend Tom Hiddleston have called it quits! The reason for the split seems to be that the lady is 'uncomfortable' with the 35-year-old actor's desire to be 'so public' about their romance.

Tom had asked Taylor to the Emmy Awards later this month, but she began questioning whether he was with her for 'the right reasons' and ultimately decided to call off the romance. 

Tom wants their relationship to be public, even asking Taylor to go to the Emmys with him, but Taylor wants to keep her private life private,' the source revealed on Monday. The singer had never walked the red carpet with a boyfriend before. She tried to be OK with it in the beginning but fears he is in love with the idea of her and not falling in love with her for the right reasons.'

The source added: 'Taylor is an independent young woman and doesn't feel like she needs a boyfriend to make her complete.' 

Tom and Taylor, while inseparable in the early days of their romance, have not been photographed together since late July. The couple are yet to make an offical announcement of their separation!
