How To Dress Up Black Pants & A Blouse

By

Black pants with any kind of blouse is the go-to outfit for everyone from college students to fashion editors for a reason – it’s comfortable and the combo works for most of the body types. The simplicity of black pants and a flared blouse makes it a really versatile outfit that you can wear comfortably to a party or for a shopping date with your girls and dancing with just a few swift and stress-free accessories changes. In my today’s lookbook post, I have created an outfit that is effortless yet very sexy and only requires you to pair up your accessories right along with your party ready makeup look.

Some ways on how you can dress up black pants & a blouse include-

1.     Jewellery: Play with jewelry- silver, gold, vintage, modern, big or small. Layer up pieces as per the occasion and let your accessories become your conversation starters. I love the floret gold jewellery pieces by Zariin and decided to pair a necklace for my blouse has a flattering neckline and earrings of course. The rules for jewellery layering is simple- dress up when hitting out for party & fun and dress down when at work. The outfit that I am sporting can be worn to a ‘casual Friday’ at work as well.

2.   Shoes: You shoes play a great role in defining the overall look of your outfit especially when you wear black pants where they are noticed a bit too easily. Wear heels to create a glam look or metallic brogues for concerts instead! Avoid wearing flat strappy shoes for they don’t add anything to your overall look.

3.     Makeup: Use all your Huda beauty palettes and highlighters to create a party-ready look. Wearing makeup not only adds a formal vibe but also helps you stand out in the most basic of all ensembles. Don’t forget to play with intense eyeshadow shades J

4.   Go fashion forward with statement pieces and textures. Add scarfs, belts, bags or even customized patches to your outfit and play by mixing a few different textures/patterns together.

5. Confidence: Don’t forget to wear your confidence up on your sleeves at all times.
