Head & Shoulders Nourishing Winter Care Shampoo Review + Giveaway

By

You all know how much I loooovvvvveeeeee looking after my hair! This winters, I have been using Head and Shoulders nourishing winter care shampoo and I have left using a hair conditioner. Did I just say that, well yes, I did :) Read my take on this shampoo and yes, you too can win a cute gift box for yourself in this post.

This is a bottle that provides nourishment to your exploited hair strands! Exploited in my case because my hair and scalp has been exposed to a lot of heat treatments and the nourishing winter care shampoo has been a blessing. The anti dandruff shampoo keeps dandruff at bay and ensures that the scalp is clean. I love the fragrance and after effect of the shampoo on my hair. Even if I don't use a conditioner the hair remains soft and shiny! It controls the winter frizz and keeps the hair oil free. With a thick consistency it lathers well. The winter care variant comes with a smart seal technology and H&S microzinc formula that works on contact to nourish scalp and hair. Overall the shampoo gets a big thumbs from me for loving my hair!

  3. I love winters. In all my growing up years, i spent winters at my nani's home...in Indore.I always urged my Nani to.prepare my favourite Dal Bati n Churma.Me n my cousins used to sit down together n gorged on it from a single plate like there is no tommorow.Since it was cold outside we would play indoors board games like Ludo n Carrom. We would shout, laugh, scream and make crazy noises...Sometimes even the elders would join us to double up the fun...Nani would say: "Khao,Piyo, maza karo".We would wrap rajais (quilt)around us and act like fat aunty....Whenver i asked Nani for icecream ...she would give me Gajar ka Halwa prepared by her. Thats one awesome delicacy.I love u Nani for all the things u do for us.Winters are the best time for a get together with family:)

  5. Firstly, congratulations on turning 3 and also thank you for conducting such an awesome giveaway :)

    Coming to the giveaway question?

My favorite winter memory is when I would go to my Maternal Grandmother's (Nani) in Punjab for my Christmas vacations!
She would always pamper us and at the same time make sure we take care of our health.
We had lots of fun eating all the yummy things in Punjab that are only available during winters! Which would include Makki di roti, Sarsoon da sag, Pinni (its a type of ladoo), Gajar ka halwa yum yum and getting to watch the Grand Lohri festival, to the Hot oil Massages my Granny used to give me.

And my mom would always complain that my Nani is pampering us a bit too much. And my Nani once explained how everything is done for a reason, she would never stop us from :
-->Eating all the sarsoon da saag, gajar ka halwa etc., Reason - these things help your body to stay warm internally which is very important during winters.
--> Preparing and Celebrating Lohri is such a grand manner Reason - It would help us develop interest to know more about our culture.
--> Hot Oil Massage for hours together Reason - get rid of all the dandruff that is caused due to excessive dryness of scalp in winters.

After she has passed away, Winter is not the same for me anymore I miss her and all the fun we had.

Feels great to express! Thank you for the opportunity! :D

My favourite Winter Memory is when I was away from home in the College Hostel. Me and my friends used to take walks at night, sit around a bonfire and just talk. I never missed home. Miss those days !

  7. Winter always takes me back to my childhood days with my little brother. All the fun we used to have together then as we were kids. Warming up in the blankets and relishing the super hot chocolate which our mom used to make for us. How we enjoyed falling sick to get a day off from going to school to have fun at home to play snakes & ladder. These fun memories are very close to my heart. And every year I cherish them during winter as they always refresh me with a feel of happiness & joy.
Winter of 2010 is the most close to my heart as my baby turned one that winter and also said his first word ever which was "Amma" I was the most happiest person on the earth that day. With a nice cold weather outside my heart filled with warmthness with lot of happiness inside which doubled up with lots of love & joy too altogether :)

  8. I haven't tried the shampoo but I guess it's time to do that! I have endless winter memories to share. In-fact when someone you love becomes a memory, the memory becomes a treasure! I met my fiance at a New Year party in 2014, and now I am getting married to him this year, guess it was winter season and endless coffee dates in cold and getting to wear his coat that remains my favorite memory. Lots of love to you :)

  9. Memories are those which give you a reason to smile and to
cry. In past, I have gone through a period which was full of tears and prayers
to God. That period made me realize that
God is there who listened your prayers if you do it with your genuineness. I
got married in my 30s so I and my hubby have decided to have a baby as soon as
possible and we both waiting for the period when will I get that news. A day
came when I get that news but doctor said there were some complications and I
need to take care of me a lot. That
complication over ruled me and I had a miscarriage, that loss had broken me and
    I lost my hope.

My husband was the great supporter to me and he made me
realized that God is with us and do believe in Him. I hadn’t conceived for next
two year after that loss, that long period made me weak & hopeless. I had
taken lots of treatments and visited lots of temples too. And one day I got
positive sign on my tester kit and I was so happy and I must say I was on Cloud
nine. We both went to a doctor and she recommended me to take lots of
precautions, good diet and good rest on the basis of my past. Nine months went
away happily and a cute baby boy came in our life who removed our sorrows and
unhappiness with smiles. The day he was born was 14th November, a
    season of winters.

That’s why this season and this day is precious to me and my
favourite too. We all celebrate winters more cheerful first Diwali and then my son's birthday and then my MIL & FIL 's marriage anniversary and then Christmas and final a year end with a blast for welcoming New Year.
