Deepika Padukone inspired makeup for the festive season

By

With so many friends and relatives around, who doesn't want to look their best on Diwali? This pink and peachy makeup look worn by Deepika Padukone is the ultimate guide to perfect makeup for weddings and festive season. Her look is very natural yet glam and will complement every ethnic outfit in a gorgeous way.

Peachy cheeks, defined eyes and bold eyebrows with ruling nudes is all what Deepika Padukone's look is about. It's simple, natural and easy to achieve which makes it a must try. To go about this look,

Cleanse, tone, moisturize and prime your face before you begin so that the makeup glides on well and the face looks polished.

Use a foundation which matches your skin tone to create an even base. Make sure that the foundation doesn't look too heavy so as to maintain the natural look. It is advisable to use a beauty blender for the same. Conceal the under-eyes and other marks/imperfections with a concealer.

Prime your eyes with an eye-shadow primer and fill in your crease with a chocolaty brown shadow. Towards the outer corner of your eyes, lightly pat some black shadow and blend it all well.

Fill in your eye-brows with a pencil and powder slightly lighter than your hair colour and be careful about the precision as the brows are the main highlight of the look.

Fill in your tear duct and brown bone lightly with a highlighter/ white eye-shadow and using a kohl pencil, fill in your upper and lower water-line.

As a final step, line your upper lashline with a liquid eye-liner creating a wing. Finish off with generous coats of mascara on the upper and lower lashes.

Once you're done with your eyes, For the cheeks, use a peach coloured blush or cheek stain and apply it on the apples of your cheeks making it stand out considering that this look doesn't involve any contouring.

For the lips, moisturize them well and line them with a nude lip-liner to make your lipstick stay on for long. Use a nude shade of lip-colour (could be matte or semi-glossy) and apply it evenly on your lips.

To complete the look, use some loose/compressed powder matching your skin tone. This will help your makeup stay matte for a longer duration.
