The party season is here and and so is my Giveaway week! The first post from the series include must have party season lipsticks and they aren't about just dark colour or pinks or pastels. I have included a list of lipsticks that will work with most of our Indian skin tones (fair, medium, dusky beauty et al) and are extremely versatile shades! This has got to be my most fav shade of the season! As a new bride, I am basking in the glory of colour RED. Icon Pop is from Clinique's Pop Matte Lip Colour + Primer collection and comes with a pigmented saturated formula. Love the creamy matte texture it has and the colour is a deep red that will work with all kinds of outfit this party season.

Shock Pop is another gorgeous shade from Clinique's Pop Matte Lip Colour collection and is especially for a woman who loves a hint of pink in her lip shade. It's not your regular pink lipstick but goes well with all bright coloured outfits during the day. Again it has a weightless formula and built-in primer that helps smooth lips for an easy, even glide every time.

How can I not have a classic red lipstick for this party season! Mattelustre Lipstick in classic red is a full-coverage, adjustable-finish lipstick with a plumping effect. The red is bright red in shade and is the only head turning lipstick or rather makeup you need in your vanity box :)

#4 Must Have: KIKO MILANO Velvet Passion In Shade 314 (Plum)
This lipstick has a creamy matte lipstick. It has got an easily blended texture gives the lips an intense matte look. Love it for it glides super smoothly on the lips and it has a really unusual shape that preserves the lipstick from getting wasted. This plum shade is extremely versatile and goes with all skin tones. It's a gorgeous plum shade and it's perfect for Sunday brunch!

Undoubtedly it's bold,dark and beautiful just like my bold and never backing off personality.
An added reason is that I stay out of home for my training for about 8-9 hours and as you said it's long lasting so just apt for me.
btw our recent bride is looking very pretty in the above pics ��

The packaging looks great and going by the looks of it in the picture,it doesn't look like one that would result in chapped lips which is a great plus. The colour is just so versatile and bang on.I can wear it on office days to coffee with friends.It just ticks all the boxes .Since the instagram is private hoping this would make for bonus points:) Merry christmas ho ho ho :) tis the season!
ReplyDeleteRed lips are the little black dress of beauty -- glamorous, feminine, timeless! The only lipstick that makes it to my list of favourites is the RED lipstick by Pixie by Petra. Like a good push-up bra, a red lipstick only serves to enhance our goods. Red is classy, bold and so sophisticated, but it must be worn right to pull it off. I just got engaged and it's going to be my first new year party/new year eve with my fiancee hence I want to dress to kill in a LBD and rock this shade for simply swiping on a red lipstick can take your makeup look from modest to marvelous. Annnndddd I want to have the most perfect kiss at 12 am so yes, this has gotta be my way of rocking my fav lip shade.
